The arrangement

Custom Courseware Review Guide is a buyer-focused resource for enterprise learning and content production. The publication is supported by Cyberwisdom, which also provides enterprise learning and content services. Sponsorship and commercial relationships are disclosed, and paid placement does not determine editorial ratings or review conclusions.

This text is our current working description of the arrangement. The exact legal and commercial structure is being confirmed and this page will be updated with the precise entity details, the sponsorship terms and the payment arrangements once they are settled. Where a statement here is provisional, it is marked as such.

Why we describe ourselves this way

We describe the publication as buyer-focused research and a vendor directory supported by Cyberwisdom. We do not describe it as independent, because complete editorial separation requires a governance structure, an operating process and a funding base that do not currently exist in the form that claim would require.

A narrower, accurate description serves a buyer better than a broader, unsupported one. If a future structure genuinely supports the independence claim, we will describe it that way, and not before.

What this means for the sponsor's listing

Cyberwisdom appears in the vendor directory, and it is labelled as a sponsored relationship on its profile. It has not been independently evaluated under our published methodology, so no editorial verdict and no rating are offered for it. Its profile is a transparency note rather than a review.

The practical effect is that a reader can treat the Cyberwisdom profile as a research starting point and nothing more. Every other provider profile on the site was researched independently of the commercial relationship with the sponsor.

Revenue model

  • Free basic directory listings for providers.
  • Paid enhanced profiles, offering additional factual detail, portfolio media and promoted placement, clearly labelled.
  • Sponsored placements, sponsored educational resources and relevant display advertising, all labelled where visitors can see them.
  • Sponsored content, where the sponsor is identified prominently and the content passes editorial and legal review.
  • Qualified buyer enquiry and matching services, with any paid relationship affecting recommendations disclosed.
  • Research and premium resources, where there is demonstrated demand. We are not building a paid subscription before validating that demand.

Payment processing and vendor self-service are not currently operational. We will not describe them as available until they are implemented and tested.

Conflict safeguards that are actually in place

  • Sponsored content and paid placements are labelled in the interface, not only in a policy page.
  • Editorial work and commercial work use separate internal statuses, and commercial staff cannot alter an editorial score.
  • The sponsor's directory entry is a transparency note rather than a review, so no comparison is implied.
  • Any paid relationship affecting a buyer shortlist is disclosed to that buyer.
  • An audit trail is maintained for changes to reviews, scores, sponsorship labels and material factual fields.

Contact

Questions about ownership, funding or a possible conflict should go to the editorial team through the contact page, and not to a commercial contact. A sponsorship enquiry from a reader would be declined rather than answered.
