Draft notice
This is draft text prepared for launch. It has not yet been reviewed by qualified counsel and should not be relied on as final. It will be replaced with a reviewed version before the site opens to the public.
What we collect
- Enquiry forms. When you submit a project brief, a vendor listing request, a correction request or a sponsorship enquiry, we receive the details you enter, along with the page you submitted from and the date of submission.
- Buyer tools. The interactive tools run entirely in your browser. Entries are not transmitted to us, are not stored, and are not associated with an account.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp, for security and reliability purposes.
- Analytics. We use privacy-conscious, aggregate measurement of page views and referral sources so we can understand which research is useful. We do not build advertising profiles of individual visitors.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data to anyone.
- We do not send unsolicited marketing email.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers to build behavioural profiles.
- We do not automatically forward your enquiry to any vendor, including our sponsor, without an appropriate notice and a lawful basis.
How enquiries are used
An enquiry is used to respond to your request, to prepare a shortlist against your stated requirements where you have asked for one, and to understand what buyers need so the guide improves. If you have asked us to introduce you to providers, we will tell you which providers and on what basis, and we will tell you if a commercial relationship affects which providers are shown.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond to the enquiry and to maintain a record of the commercial relationship, and are then deleted or anonymised. Correction records are retained with the published correction for transparency.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will do so. Contact the editorial team through the contact page.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies for essential site function and aggregate measurement. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising. Browser controls can remove them, and the interactive tools work without them.
